Phaseolus vulgaris var. nanus
.Proven variety from the Rhineland with tender, stringless pods and early, productive harvest.
The variety was brought onto the market by the company "Paas & Co. Samenzucht und Samenhandlung" in the 1940s bi Düsseldorf and has proven itself in many gardens. The plants grow to a height of approx. 60 cm, flower white and have straight pods with kidney-shaped, white seeds. When sowing, the variety requires a little warmth, which is why it is often not sown until the end of May. The variety is also on the "Red List of Endangered Native Crops" and is part of the Slow Food Ark of Taste.
